Before Treatment Day
1. Declutter Your Home

Remove excess clutter, especially around beds and furniture.

Do not place items in sealed plastic bins or bags, as heat must reach all surfaces.​
2. Launder Fabrics

Wash and dry all bedding, linens, curtains, and clothing on the highest heat settings possible.

Store cleaned items in breathable containers or bags (not plastic).​
3. Remove Heat-Sensitive Items
The following items must be removed to avoid damage:

Aerosol cans, pressurized containers

Electronics not rated for high heat (e.g., vinyl records, certain batteries, etc.)

Flammable or explosive materials (lighters, fuels, fire extinguishers)

4. Prepare Furniture and Rooms

Move furniture away from walls by at least 2 feet.

5. Vacuum Thoroughly

Vacuum floors, carpets, furniture, and mattresses.

Dispose of vacuum bags immediately in an outdoor trash bin.​
Treatment Day

Turn off air conditioning and fans; heat must circulate evenly.
